SHOPIFY IS SUPER EASY TO USE IF YOU HAVEN'T MADE OR EDITED A WEBSITE YOURSELF. MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR ME IS THAT SHOPIFY HAS REALLY GOOD FINANCIAL REPORTS THAT COME IN HANDY DURING EOFY OR WHEN YOU'RE DOING GENERAL BOOK KEEPING.

YOUR WEBSITE SHOULD INCLUDE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR BRAND AND PRODUCTS. THIS WILL HELP YOU IN THE LONG RUN AS A WEBSITE IS THE MOST CREDIBLE PAGE FOR YOUR START UP BRAND. PEOPLE TEND TO TRUST BRANDS WITH A GOOD WEBSITE SO MAKE SURE ITS UP TO SCRATCH AND LOOKING GOOD.

PART 3. CURATING AND SELLING YOUR BRAND

If your brand focuses on exclusivity, make your community feel special with one off pieces or short runs. do whatever it takes to work for your community.

PART 4. FINDING YOUR MARKET

WITH EVERY PRODUCT, THERE IS A MARKET FOR IT. THE HARD PART IS FINDING THAT MARKET AND SELLING TO IT.

ONE WAY BRANDS FIND THEIR TARGET MARKET IS BY PUTTING THEIR BRAND ON TIK TOK. YOU MAY HAVE HEARD ALOT ABOUT THIS PLATFORM (GOOD AND BAD) BUT I FIND THE PROS MASSIVELY OUTWEIGH THE CONS. ALL IT TAKES IS ONE VIDEO TO REACH 1 MILLION VIEWS FOR YOU TO SELL OUT COMPLETLY (THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME 3 TIMES).

ANOTHER WAY TO FIND YOUR MARKET IS TO RUN INTERACTIVE EVENTS. THINK POP UPS, GIVEAWAYS, SALES. THIS WILL ATTRACT THE PEOPLE YOU WANT AROUND YOUR BRAND.

ONE THING ILL MENTION HERE IS TO BE PROACTIVE WHEN RUNNING A BRAND. THIS WILL SHOW THROUGH TO EVERYONE WATCHING. IT'S REALLY EASY TO TELL IF YOUR BRAND IS SLACKING WITH IT'S CONTENT OR ACTIVITY SO KEEP THE BALL ROLLING.
